Esper @ Two Months & Three Months

I am behind, so I'm combining her Month Two and Three posts.

Here she is at Two Months old

And at Three Months old, she is quite smitten with her hands and all that they can do.She especially likes to suck on them. 

She is getting so big. She is my pretty, growing girl.

• She is talking SO much! She loves to make little cute shrieking noises when she's happy or excited. She loves to talk to people and people talking to her makes her smile and laugh. In fact she giggled for the first time and it was such a beautiful sound.
• She adores baths. I usually take her in my big bath and hold on to her back while she floats and splashes and she loves it.
• She is now wearing 3-6 months clothes and size 2 diapers. I had to go in and pack up all her 0-3 months summer clothes and it made me quite sad.
• We have tummy time everyday. She really doesn't like the pressure on her belly but she's started rocking side to side and should be rolling any day now!
• She sleeps usually between 6 to 8 hours every night. She wakes up to eat a bottle and then goes back to bed with me until about 10 am. It's very nice. 
• She got to meet her Holmes grandparents last month and they enjoyed meeting her. We hope to take her to California to meet the rest of her aunts and uncles sometime. (and hopefully she'll get to see her Uncle D.J. and Aunt Beth at Christmas time)
• Has decided she HATES the car. I have discovered it's because she can't see me. When we go places as a family I usually sit in the back so she'll be happy.
• Took her on her first road trip to St. George. She did so well in the car and slept longer in it than I thought she would. 
• Is starting to get a little anxious around new people, but will usually warm up after a few minutes.
• Still does not cry or fuss much unless she's hungry or tired. 
• Is all smiles and talk when you go to get her out of her crib in the morning. She almost forgets she's hungry when she sees a familiar face.
• She eats 5-6 oz. at each feeding.
• Had surgery to put tubes in her ears to drain all the fluid in there. After the surgery she passed her hearing tests with flying colors! (I'm going to do a separate blog post about this.) 
• Is already starting to grasp things like her binky and rattles. She doesn't use the pincer finger and thumb, she uses her middle three fingers to kinda grab things. 
• Is losing her hair and it makes Mama very sad! Hopefully it will grow back soon.
• Loves watching the TV while being fed, especially Futurama. (Oops, bad parenting!)
• Is the sweetest baby girl in the entire world, and we are so lucky to have her!

Stats at 2 Months: Weight: 10.36 lbs or 37%; Length: 23.03 in or 75%; Head: 15.4 in or 56%
